We have come to the last reveal day and I am sad as the feast is now over....but none the less I saved my favourite crafter's work for the last...I love love her work and she is a lovely chic to chat with though we have not found time lately to catch up with our chats....what say Sindhu...lets do the catching up soon...

Lets not waste our time and see her beauties.... let me tell you my vocabulary with words will fall short to describe my appreciation of this gurl's hard work and creativity so am just showcasing it and leaving it for you all to leave the love and comments ...

Fridge Magnets- Reveal 5

So let me gather from where I left you yesterday......I was traveling to Khush's table to take a peek at what she did for her partner and believe me ...I liked what I saw...This is one gurl who loves neon and brightness and manages to handle them in control....personally to me ...I like bright stuff but in subtlety ....but somehow this gurl's neon designs do not bother or pinch my eye...so that's a strong point of hers...now for the showcase....

So it seems you all agreed with me on the raining creativity thingy on Swap Central India...so lets get on with the next reveal of Renuka Bindu...she is another regular who has stepped out of her comfort zone all the time....and I have personally known her in another swap when she had just begun her journey with crafting...and must say she is a real sweetheart ..(I still have your letter gurl....) ..I love her color choices and her innovation.....

These two are a real stunner and appear darn cute to me....you can take your pick though...

 I love the creativity of having a beautiful orange flower with provision to insert a photograph into it....absolutely imaginative to the core....and the pocket note magnet...ohhh cutie

Hellooo people....I am loving the fact that you guys are totally relishing the feast that we are offering at Swap Central India with our participants creativity....see what I told you ...the level of imagination and creativity is gone up and thats what I love about this place.....

Todays reveal is from Nandini Karmakar....ever since she has joined us ....she has almost been a pro and regular with our swaps and the most interesting thing about this gurl is that she has an amazing hand at origami....her folds are awesome....while I am still relishing her multifold cards swap she has taken her level a notch higher with the Fridge Magnets...

I could have personally not thought of doing the Magnets this way....and must say the kiddie touch to it ...I mean its darn cute and adorable.....yess yess...am not keeping the showcase away from you guys for long...so here it comes...

Am amazed at the finesse and imagination for this one....

Fridge Magnets -Reveal 2

I see the comments pouring in for the Reveal 1 and trust me when I say its gets better day after day....today am getting you a regular and pro crafter with Swap Central India- Darshana Menon...

What I like about her is she is fearless to try and take part in every swap we have had...thats the agenda...walk out of your comfort zone and learn to experiment and yet stay within your style and maintain your own originality....and am proud to know this lovely crafter who has given it her best to keep trying and experimenting with each of our swaps....Kuddos gurl...

Fridge Magnet- Reveal 1

Good Morning peeps....its a lovely weather outside my window in Mumbai and to God's grace the mood of my comp is also set right so its working and before it decides to change its mind and be grumpy ...let me do the honors of starting the Fridge Magnets Reveal....

When we thought of the swap we had never imagined that you all participates would take the level a notch higher than what was on our mind...so first of all please give yourselves a big clap....

And now to the reveals...I am showcasing some unique and wonderful magnets made by one of my favourite crafter and currently a regular with us...Pallavi Iyer :) I like the fact that she didnot restrict herself and has used a lot of mixed media here and there...something that interests me personally...

I just love the Smile and Heart magnet for its uniqueness and its concept.....

My favourite here is again the Smile Forever pouch of flowers and Fly Soar....

These Beauties are now a part of Darshana Menon's Fridge decor......

Swap #11=> Multiple use of CDs

Hello,

Welcome back to swap central once again. Thanks for everyone who joined in for the fridge magnets swap.. reveals will start soon.. There were some amazing fridge magnets made ( I haven't seen any but going by the past work records at swap central, I am at the liberty to make such a statement.. :P)

So welcome to a brand new swap.. This time we are going to use old and discarded CDs to make different creations. We started off at swap central with a CD mini and feels like we are back again, reliving old memories...

So, coming back to the main point.. what all you will have to make.

1) A CD hanging- either a car accessory or a wall hanging ( the choice is yours). If you choose to do a car hanging you will have to embellish one CD but on both sides. If you choose a wall hanging, it will be 3 CDs, embellishing one side of each CD.

2) A CD notebook of a minimum 20 pages.

3) A CD magnet

4) A CD coaster ( you can embellish the edges of the coaster). Please ensure that you have modge podged the coaster else it reduces the durability of the coaster). Do not have a modge podge, don't worry and no need to buy. At the swap central facebook page we discussed how to make home made modge podge. Please scroll down the posts to find that discussion.

5) A CD cover with a CD in it with your favourite songs or a movie or anything that you want to send across as the contents of the CD as a gift for your partner ( spreading some more love). The choice of how you want  the CD cover is upto you. Please do not buy a CD sleeve and embellish it. You have to make it from scratch.

So in total you will be making FIVE things and sending to your partner.

The other rules remain the same..

Please ensure that your work standard is something you would like to get in return.

I would be sending you a maximum of 2 feedback emails. Failure to respond leads to automatic removal of your name from the swap with no further intimation.

Since CDs are delicate kindly ensure that you pack them up properly before shipping. Failure to do is a negative mark in your name.

Kindly commit to the swap only if you are confident. We understand family emergencies and health emergencies happen but you are given sufficient time to make your swap and you decide to inform us a week before the swap is supposed to close is completely irresponsible and will not be tolerated any more. If you back out, the 3 of us might take a call to debar you based on our talks. Our decision to debar remains final and we will not give explanations as to why it is done.

The last day of final submission of pictures is 25th June. Kindly send in sneak peeks as soon as you begin working on your swap.
